So I'm back in Ithaca indefinitely. It's senior year in college now. Crazy. School starts in a week and a half, and I have nothing to do really. I didn't bring my camera, stupidly, because I'm living temporarily in a friend's house until the campus apartments are open/available, so I only brought things that were necessary or that I could leave in the car. I wish I had at least brought my memory cards though because I have photos on them that I could be editing/uploading. Oops.

I also got a job. Well technically I already had it, but I moved it. I am employed by Target back home (well I was on leave of absence and they were supposed to have terminated me for not being able to return, but apparently they forgot) so I transferred to the Ithaca Target. I'm going to have a crazy busy semester -- 18 credits + filming + Target + Fuse Magazine + life. It'll be interesting and I seriously hope that I don't crash.

Anyway, I don't have much to do until the week that school starts because I transferred to late at Target so the first week of school is also the first week of work. I decided to go through all the clubs I'm in and compile a list of submission guidelines, so maybe I'll actually start submitting again. I'll post it here, in case any of my watchers are in the same clubs and submit infrequently. If I remember, I'll update it when PhotographersClub get's their journals back in order.

Clubs:

Well I did it! I just finished going through all 800 deviations in my inbox...800, that means it's actually way more than 800, since many of them were club screen caps. It took a few hours, but now my inbox is clean... at least for a little while.

I also took the time to work on some photos to ready them for deviantart and then uploaded them. I have a huge backlog still.

Clubs:

So, I have sort of been ignoring dA for the past several weeks. I'd been busy with first a 4 week physics class and then 4 weeks in Rome, Italy. I took an Ithaca College photo class in Rome and currently I'm uploading/editing photos to upload on dA. I'm back in NY now.

I started making my dA portfolio, and it's pretty cool. I think it's really great that they are offering that now because I don't really want to link professionals to my dA page... It has a lot of stuff that isn't necessarily my best work. So yeah, it's cool.

Ok, well that's all I guess...

Well I'm back in NY now, but only for about 4 weeks, at which point I will be heading off to Rome for a month-long Ithaca College photo class.

It's weird to be back. I arrived last night...

I'll probably be on dA a bit more frequently in the next few weeks. I have a HUGE backlog of photos from this semester and all my travels.

Well I guess that's all... just letting you all know I'm alive and haven't forgotten my place here on dA.
